About D.D. Sports Management Agency

Established in 2017 by President Dontè Barry Dorlly, D.D. Sports Management Agency was founded with one clear mission: to be South Africa's premier pathway to European football.

While over 50 agencies operate across South Africa, too many talented players remain trapped in a local rat race with no real route abroad. We exist to change that.

D.D. Sports Management is built as a professional player export and development powerhouse — connecting elite South African talent directly with European clubs, academies, and opportunities. We don't just represent players. We sell them.

We have created a structured, proven system that prepares players mentally, tactically, and commercially for the demands of European football. Our focus is simple: identify high-potential talent, develop them to European standards, and secure lucrative moves that benefit the player, their family, their club, and South African football as a whole.

West Africa continues to produce wave after wave of players heading to Europe's top leagues because their ecosystem is built around player export — from grassroots to senior national teams. South Africa has the raw talent. What we've lacked is the right infrastructure, the right connections, and the right ambition.

Born in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, and raised in the vibrant streets of Johannesburg, my football journey began on the dusty pitches where dreams are forged every day.

I pursued my passion as a player until 2017, when an injury sidelined me. Instead of stepping away, I chose to stay deeply involved — analysing matches with my teammates, diving into coaching books, and studying the game from a tactical and managerial perspective. That injury became the turning point that shifted my focus from playing to developing talent and understanding the business of football.

I transitioned into local coaching, dedicating myself to nurturing young South African players. During this time, I founded Thunder United F.C. — my first attempt at creating something bigger. Although the club didn't last long due to my limited business knowledge at the time, it taught me invaluable lessons and ignited a deeper hunger to grow.

Determined to do better, I invested heavily in my education — completing courses in Business Management, Negotiations, and Professional Athlete Management. These weren't just certificates. They were the foundation I needed to operate at the highest level.

Fast forward to today: I have built over 3,000 direct contacts across Europe — straight to club management and coaches, with no third parties or middlemen. This network was strengthened through trusted collaborations with high-profile players including Loris Karius (former Liverpool goalkeeper), Wesley França (Roma), Rayan Vitor (Bournemouth), Vladimir Coufal (former West Ham), and many other top prospects.

Every connection, every late-night call, and every relationship built represents years of persistence, integrity, and a genuine belief in South African talent.

My Vision

Rodan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for football to our agency. As a dedicated Football Analyst and Scout with experience at clubs including Barrow AFC, he has built a strong reputation for identifying talent, conducting in-depth opposition analysis, and supporting player development pathways.

His sharp eye for detail and deep understanding of the game make him a valuable addition to our growing team. A proud South African with roots in the Gauteng region, Rodan has previously been associated with Florida College and continues to contribute to the local and international football scene.

His expertise in talent identification and recruitment will play a key role in helping us discover and nurture the next generation of stars — from grassroots level all the way to the professional game.

His Role

Leading our scouting network, Rodan will oversee talent identification across Africa and beyond — working directly with the agency to bring the most exciting prospects into our roster and onto the global stage.
